Sled dog guide / Husky safari guide

HuskyCo joined Wilderness Hotels and Safaris family in November 2024, which brought a lot of positive changes in our dog yard. The biggest one being complete kennel renovation to be even more functional and offer the best possible life for our dogs and unforgettable memories for our guests.
To achieve that - we are looking for motivated, willing to learn and grow people to join our team.
Our kennel has under 200 dogs, some of them are working age, some are retired, and some are just growing into sled dogs.
All our dogs are living in the pens, and our retirees and youngsters has a special designated area where they can interact with each other and learn social skills.
In our team, we do not separate guides and mushers - everyone does everything.
Our main programme is 10km tours, where we guide with both - snowmobiles and sleds, depending on how busy the days are.
We usually have 4 starts per day, two being in the morning and two in the afternoon.
Our day starts at 7am, and usually we are done working before 5pm.
The job includes:
Kennel work
Taking care of our four-legged colleagues and ensuring their wellbeing
Guiding on the husky tours
Interacting with customers from all around the world
Some days transporting the customers to/from the farm
Some days training and socialising youngsters and retirees
Small maintenance task in the kennel when needed
Working in different temperatures, sunshine or blizzard with the smile.
What we are looking for:
Experienced or motivated person
Friendly person towards both - dogs and people
Physically strong person
Responsible team player, who can work individually as well
Fluent English speaker (other languages are considered as advantage)
Person with the valid driving licence (you should be able to drive manual gearbox cars)
Most importantly, a person with strong customer service skills, who can smile in our organised chaos during the busiest days of the season.
Minimum of 22 years old.
P.S. Couples are welcome to join our team, anyhow you should have worked together before.

Hourly based salary depending on experience
120 hours - 3 weeks work schedule
